The Channel Operations Coordinator supports the Cross-Channel Planning and Operations team by ensuring quality, timely and relevant information is in place to drive clarity and visibility within the channels and planning team and cross-divisionally. This role is driving continuous improvement and efficiency within our channel planning process by standardizing workflows, documenting roles and responsibilities, managing timelines, and communicating resource constraints or misalignment. To be successful in this role, you will connect, develop, and maintain positive relationships with channels, marketing integration, project management and other internal cross functional partners through the various planning cycles.

Your Planning & Navigating Requirements

  • Strong project management and collaboration skills with the ability to prioritize and communicate within the team and with key stakeholders.
  • Responsible for the facilitation and management of bi-annual project planning to inform project intake, resource capacity and overall adherence to annual marketing plan across omni-channel partners.
  • Evaluates annual intake forms for strategic relevance, business need, and to ensure they are in-line with REI’s core values.
  • Accountable for management of multiple concurrent business critical projects that range from simple to more complex in scope and scale. Manages internal and cross-divisional teams to execute projects against annual business initiatives and campaigns. 
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mentality, always looking for more efficient ways to improve process
  • Develop a broad set of relationships and collaborate across channels, project management, marketing and other cross divisional partners to provide consultative and tactical support for channel plan development. 
  • Key liaison between internal, cross-divisional, and third-party partners in the management of project timelines, dependencies, issue resolution, and channel plan delivery. 
  • Accountable for omni-channel marketing project deliverables and maintaining current industry knowledge and best practices across a variety of channels including website, mobile, email, digital advertising, print, and social platforms.
  • Responsible for building upon and maintaining team Sharepoint sites and coordinating meetings with internal and external partners.
  • Leverages “Workfront” work management tool daily to centrally house project requirements, schedules, documentation, and resource time tracking. May lead and/or provide support relative to tool releases. 
  • Accountable for accurate allocation of channel resources within a project schedule to drive team member focus and efficiency. Proactively elevates resource concerns and advocates on the team’s behalf to alleviate capacity issues.

  • 1+ years’ demonstrated experience leading process improvements efforts and implementing innovative solutions to solve business problems
  • 1+ years demonstrated experience concurrently managing multiple small to large projects
  • Extremely organized and highly accountable
  • Ability to build and foster strong relationships within and outside of the organization from individual contributors to senior leadership 
  • Experience and demonstrated ability blending analytical and creative thinking.
  • Proficient to advanced skills in Microsoft Office business applications

  • Consolidates information from various sources including feedback from others to reach sound decisions.

As required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, REI provides a range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location or other relevant factors. The salary range for this position may be lower or higher in different markets.

The pay for this role is: $19.25 to $35.75 per hour

ARTICLE 23-A, Section 753
LICENSURE AND EMPLOYMENT OF PERSONS PREVIOUSLY CONVICTED OF ONE OR MORE CRIMINAL OFFENSES

§753. Factors to be considered concerning a previous criminal conviction; presumption.

1. In making a determination pursuant to section seven hundred fifty-two of this chapter, the public agency or private employer shall consider the following factors:

(a) The public policy of this state, as expressed in this act, to encourage the licensure and employment of persons previously convicted of one or more criminal offenses.

(b) The specific duties and responsibilities necessarily related to the license or employment sought or held by the person.

(c) The bearing, if any, the criminal offense or offenses for which the person was previously convicted will have on his fitness or ability to perform one or more such duties or responsibilities.

(d) The time which has elapsed since the occurrence of the criminal offense or offenses.

(e) The age of the person at the time of occurrence of the criminal offense or offenses.

(f) The seriousness of the offense or offenses.

(g) Any information produced by the person, or produced on his behalf, in regard to his rehabilitation and good conduct.

(h) The legitimate interest of the public agency or private employer in protecting property, and the safety and welfare of specific individuals or the general public.

2. In making a determination pursuant to section seven hundred fifty-two of this chapter, the public agency or private employer shall also give consideration to a certificate of relief from disabilities or a certificate of good conduct issued to the applicant, which certificate shall create a presumption of rehabilitation in regard to the offense or offenses specified therein.
