The Divisional Vice President of Store Operations is responsible for providing strategic leadership and guidance for the Stores Division. They lead the Store Operations Team and is a critical partner to the Stores Organization and the rest of the Co-op. A primary objective of the position is to optimize store operations to meet business goals, drive efficiencies, ensure a great customer experience and drive innovation for the future.
In strong partnership with cross divisional partners the DVP, Store Operations will ensure consistent execution of operational initiatives and build skills and agility within the divisions to support the changing dynamics of the business. This role is responsible for the development, planning and budgeting for the Stores Division in partnership with the rest of the Stores Organization Leadership.

Leading the Way
· As a member of the Leadership Forum, develops a deep understanding of, effectively communicates and broadly supports execution of company strategies and priorities.
· Translates company strategies into actionable divisional plans and executes successful delivery.

· Strengthens retail staff’s access and connection to leadership through annual store visits and district conference calls; drives engagement and builds trust in REI’s leaders.

· Supports the implementation of company programs, procedures, methods and practices to promote REI key messages.

· Ensures employees adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements.
· Oversees training and development of employees directly and indirectly managed and makes effective staffing decisions.
· Conducts and ensures the completion of performance reviews.
· Provides coaching, direction and leadership support to employees in order to achieve department, company and customer results.
· Establishes and maintains visibility within the department.
· Monitors operational statistics, reports trends, variances and issues, and takes appropriate action.
Your Planning & Navigating Requirements
o Assist in building of the Stores Strategic Plan with measures and disciplined time lines.
o Work closely with other members of the Commercial and Stores Leadership Team to establish how store operations will continue to drive and support the short and long term objectives of the company.
o Serves as critical strategy planning link between Corporate and the whole store organization on all operational issues for the division.
o Build and leverage operational performance information/data to drive continuous improvement efforts. Identify when additional information is required to more effectively monitor and improve performance.
o Along with your team, define, design, plan, and manage projects in the operations departments in support of Company and the Store Organization Objectives.
o Responsible for ensuring the Standard Operating Procedures are in place to manage all aspects of store process. Make stores easy to run.
o Responsible for, in partnership with our Risk/Safety partners, ensuring all risk management, safety procedures/practices are in place and ongoing safety improvement is maintained in division.
As required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, REI provides a range of compensation for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location or other relevant factors.
The base pay for this role is: $225,000 - $275,000 per year. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for annual and long-term incentive compensation.

§753. Factors to be considered concerning a previous criminal conviction; presumption.
1. In making a determination pursuant to section seven hundred fifty-two of this chapter, the public agency or private employer shall consider the following factors:
(a) The public policy of this state, as expressed in this act, to encourage the licensure and employment of persons previously convicted of one or more criminal offenses.
(b) The specific duties and responsibilities necessarily related to the license or employment sought or held by the person.
(c) The bearing, if any, the criminal offense or offenses for which the person was previously convicted will have on his fitness or ability to perform one or more such duties or responsibilities.
(d) The time which has elapsed since the occurrence of the criminal offense or offenses.
(e) The age of the person at the time of occurrence of the criminal offense or offenses.
(f) The seriousness of the offense or offenses.
(g) Any information produced by the person, or produced on his behalf, in regard to his rehabilitation and good conduct.
(h) The legitimate interest of the public agency or private employer in protecting property, and the safety and welfare of specific individuals or the general public.
2. In making a determination pursuant to section seven hundred fifty-two of this chapter, the public agency or private employer shall also give consideration to a certificate of relief from disabilities or a certificate of good conduct issued to the applicant, which certificate shall create a presumption of rehabilitation in regard to the offense or offenses specified therein.
