This job contributes to REI’s success by identifying solutions to business requirements and leveraging their configuration/functional skills to implement for the Private Label business unit.   A deep and end-to-end understanding of supply planning, sourcing and quality management for private label brands is important for the success of this role.  The role is responsible for facilitating the capture of business requirements, designing development documentation, configuring solutions, conducting thorough unit/integration testing, providing production support and meeting customer expectations.  Along with the Product Team, is responsible for supporting and implementing solutions that will help optimize REI’s processes resulting in efficiencies and cost savings. Collaborates with other IT groups that develop software in support of projects, enhancements, and production support activities. Models and acts in accordance with REI’s guiding values and mission.

  • Implements solutions through System configuration for simple to moderately complex requests or projects. 
  • Validates that the System configuration is correct and meets business needs.
  • Provides thought leadership and vision to understand design gaps and develop transition plans for simple to moderately complex request and projects.
  • Produces accurate and detailed development documentation (design documents, specifications, Knowledge Base articles)
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of solutions that provide new business capabilities and/or creates process efficiencies for simple to moderately complex requests and projects
  • Ensures accuracy, consistency and effectiveness of processes in the system they support
  • Corrects System configuration defects for simple to moderately complex problems, using the IT incident and problem management processes
  • Participates in transition/promotion of new or changed configurations using IT change management processes
  • Assists in the creation of System usage documentation and training materials for newly created functionality
  • Has a solid understanding of System functionality and best practice business processes
  • Assists with quality assurance processes
Bring your passion and expertise
  • Bachelor's Degree in information technology or related field
  • 3+ years experience providing technical solutions
  • Knowledge of and ability to perform Package System configurations
  • Implement project methodology to provide technical enhancements
  • Knowledge of upstream and downstream master data impacts

As required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, REI provides a range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location or other relevant factors. The salary range for this position may be lower or higher in different markets.

The pay for this role is: $65,000 to $127,500 per year

ARTICLE 23-A, Section 753

§753. Factors to be considered concerning a previous criminal conviction; presumption.

1. In making a determination pursuant to section seven hundred fifty-two of this chapter, the public agency or private employer shall consider the following factors:

(a) The public policy of this state, as expressed in this act, to encourage the licensure and employment of persons previously convicted of one or more criminal offenses.

(b) The specific duties and responsibilities necessarily related to the license or employment sought or held by the person.

(c) The bearing, if any, the criminal offense or offenses for which the person was previously convicted will have on his fitness or ability to perform one or more such duties or responsibilities.

(d) The time which has elapsed since the occurrence of the criminal offense or offenses.

(e) The age of the person at the time of occurrence of the criminal offense or offenses.

(f) The seriousness of the offense or offenses.

(g) Any information produced by the person, or produced on his behalf, in regard to his rehabilitation and good conduct.

(h) The legitimate interest of the public agency or private employer in protecting property, and the safety and welfare of specific individuals or the general public.

2. In making a determination pursuant to section seven hundred fifty-two of this chapter, the public agency or private employer shall also give consideration to a certificate of relief from disabilities or a certificate of good conduct issued to the applicant, which certificate shall create a presumption of rehabilitation in regard to the offense or offenses specified therein.
