In this role, you will contribute to REI’s success through the creation and delivery of scalable frameworks that Experience teams can use in their business planning and integration of key strategic initiatives and core Experiences business and management operations. As a member of the Experience Team, you will be responsible for leading planning and business process surrounding critical strategic initiatives, including integration of newly acquired businesses and market expansion plans. You will be responsible for keeping teams on track with critical planning processes, ensuring business cases are well defined, financial planning is in place, continuous strategic plan updates are made and communicated, and talent management practices are followed.
You will provide a critical strategic function in terms of organization, communication and meeting deadlines. You will act as “chief of staff” to the Experience Leadership team, reporting directly to the Vice President. You will be a proactive champion for the team focused on the mission to improve the culture of accountability by streamlining processes and ensuring broad awareness of the Experiences business results, monthly business reviews, progress against priorities and KPI/goal reporting.
Works across the company to build broad understanding and support for Experience strategies, best practices, and priorities, and the impact they will have on the company. Models and acts in accordance with REI's guiding values and mission. Identifies and communicates key responsibilities and practices to ensure the organization promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results.
