The Customer Platform team is looking for a Product Manager, MarTech (Marketing Technology). In this role, you will be driving the product vision, roadmap, and discovery for our MarTech solutions. You'll be partnering closely with marketing stakeholders, as well working with the solution architects, platform teams, UX/CX partners, researchers, analysts and various stakeholders across the Co-op. You'll be expected to own the product vision, and clearly articulate the roadmap to team members and stakeholders. You'll join a fast-paced, growing, and passionate community where you'll be empowered to discover and deliver impactful solutions to our customers, and drive the mission of the Co-op. 

The Product Manager, MarTech (Marketing Technology) is responsible for developing the marketing ecosystem to enable personalized, seamless and relevant marketing touchpoints within and beyond the REI digital and physical footprint. This role will partner with marketers to understand outcomes and strategically evaluate and transform our marketing capabilities, onboarding and caring for an ecosystem of marketing technologies. It will ensure that marketing technology and research tools meet REI standards for infosecurity, privacy and architecture and support business technology needs for priority initiatives and enablement. This role will work in tight partnership with our other Customer Platform teams and excel at system thinking and integrated strategic decision-making. 


What you'll do:

  • Articulates the product vision and clearly translates the vision into clear requirements for the roadmap. 
  • Responsible for a component or set of components within the platform with a well-understood customer base. Expected to deliver impactful data and services.  
  • Familiarity with fundamental concepts of Systems Thinking  
  • Understanding of data value streams, and ability to identify data quality concerns  
  • Responsible for building and operationalizing holistic solutions that meet the needs for multiple lines of businesses  
  • Uses tools to conduct discovery with their product team, such as user surveys, data analytics, cohort analyses and journey mapping.  
  • Proactively assists product team to recognize dependencies, remove barriers and ensure smooth product delivery  
  • Anticipate and build out data and systems that support expanded capabilities 
  • Track the results of our experiments, using data to draw appropriate conclusions and leverage those learnings to craft new tests. 
  • Clearly ties prioritization methods to strategic objectives and broader Co-op goals.  
  • Utilizes various data analytic tools to gain deep insights about cohorts and usage behaviors 
  • Effectively communicates and aligns with multiple product teams and stakeholders to drive towards common goals. 
  • Actively utilizes and helps improve product practices for the Co-op.  
  • Work with a cross functional product team to deliver solutions that create positive outcomes for our customers and business.  
  • Lead your team through a process of discovering how to best solve for key opportunities. Encourage and incorporate the feedback of key stakeholders.  
  • Effectively communicates and aligns with multiple product teams and stakeholders to drive towards common goals.  
  • Proactively assist product team to recognize dependencies, remove barriers and ensure smooth product delivery  
  • Work with designers and architects/engineers to translate customer needs into a design and technical plan.

Skills you'll bring:
  • 4+ years product management experience
  • 2-4 years experience managing consumer digital products
  • Experience working collaboratively with architects/engineers, data analysts, and UX designers 
  • Technical fluency and ability to clearly communicate user and business benefits for various technologies; comfort communicating technology concepts, trade-offs and new opportunities with team members
    • We use Responsys and Unica
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful products to a broad customer base in an agile environment
  • Experience designing and executing product discovery and product optimization experiments within a given toolset
  • Proven ability to leverage data and insights to make informed product decisions
  • BA/BS in computer science, engineering, related disciplines or equivalent practical experience

ARTICLE 23-A, Section 753
LICENSURE AND EMPLOYMENT OF PERSONS PREVIOUSLY CONVICTED OF ONE OR MORE CRIMINAL OFFENSES

§753. Factors to be considered concerning a previous criminal conviction; presumption.

1. In making a determination pursuant to section seven hundred fifty-two of this chapter, the public agency or private employer shall consider the following factors:

(a) The public policy of this state, as expressed in this act, to encourage the licensure and employment of persons previously convicted of one or more criminal offenses.

(b) The specific duties and responsibilities necessarily related to the license or employment sought or held by the person.

(c) The bearing, if any, the criminal offense or offenses for which the person was previously convicted will have on his fitness or ability to perform one or more such duties or responsibilities.

(d) The time which has elapsed since the occurrence of the criminal offense or offenses.

(e) The age of the person at the time of occurrence of the criminal offense or offenses.

(f) The seriousness of the offense or offenses.

(g) Any information produced by the person, or produced on his behalf, in regard to his rehabilitation and good conduct.

(h) The legitimate interest of the public agency or private employer in protecting property, and the safety and welfare of specific individuals or the general public.

2. In making a determination pursuant to section seven hundred fifty-two of this chapter, the public agency or private employer shall also give consideration to a certificate of relief from disabilities or a certificate of good conduct issued to the applicant, which certificate shall create a presumption of rehabilitation in regard to the offense or offenses specified therein.
