From within REI's Customer Experience organization, you will drive the concept development, execution, and ongoing management of Membership, both individually and by developing and leveraging partnerships with cross-divisional REI teams. You will also be a key contributor to the membership program strategy in collaboration with your manager, the Manager of Membership.

You'll get to:

  • Define, develop, and manage membership program elements that support REI business goals for new member acquisition, and business goals for REI member retention, engagement, and loyalty. These elements could include program customer experience attributes (both online and in-store), systems and infrastructure development, and business modeling for future program innovation (e.g. new member benefits).

  • Act as a key contributor to member program strategy, in support of REI’s growth agenda

  • Develop and manage analytics needs and reporting of key success metrics and program performance data, and analyze that data to apply insights and improvements

  • Define and manage program execution processes, including providing clear descriptions of inputs, outputs, and timelines, as well as day-to-day actions that support the delivery of program objectives and key success metrics

  • Work collaboratively with REI cross-divisional teams and stakeholders to drive member program innovations, and share member program knowledge/expertise with internal teams to drive alignment and accountability

  • Foster relationships and oversee deliverables with internal stakeholders and staff

  • Facilitate business briefs and become an ambassador for the membership brand across the Co-op

  • Develop and manage member program resources such as budget, vendors, and partners

  • Maintain expertise in the loyalty program marketing field by researching trends, opportunities, threats, competitors and other factors 

  • Plan and manage expense budgets of $1 mil+, including monthly working plan updates and year-end performance

Bring your passion and expertise

• 5+ years’ experience in loyalty program management, Marketing, Business, or relevant field

• Experience in creating and implementing innovative program plans and strategies, in collaboration with internal and external partner teams

• Ability to understand program metrics and financial trends, and to dive deep into the numbers in order to

• Experience with working with multiple teams and stakeholders, creating and executing business plans (including contingency plans), and delivering results on time and on budget

• Demonstrated in-depth understanding of marketing and cross-team processes and relationship needs

• Budget tracking experience required. Budget management experience preferred 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office business applications required

• Bachelors’ degree in marketing, business, or relevant field preferred

ARTICLE 23-A, Section 753

§753. Factors to be considered concerning a previous criminal conviction; presumption.

1. In making a determination pursuant to section seven hundred fifty-two of this chapter, the public agency or private employer shall consider the following factors:

(a) The public policy of this state, as expressed in this act, to encourage the licensure and employment of persons previously convicted of one or more criminal offenses.

(b) The specific duties and responsibilities necessarily related to the license or employment sought or held by the person.

(c) The bearing, if any, the criminal offense or offenses for which the person was previously convicted will have on his fitness or ability to perform one or more such duties or responsibilities.

(d) The time which has elapsed since the occurrence of the criminal offense or offenses.

(e) The age of the person at the time of occurrence of the criminal offense or offenses.

(f) The seriousness of the offense or offenses.

(g) Any information produced by the person, or produced on his behalf, in regard to his rehabilitation and good conduct.

(h) The legitimate interest of the public agency or private employer in protecting property, and the safety and welfare of specific individuals or the general public.

2. In making a determination pursuant to section seven hundred fifty-two of this chapter, the public agency or private employer shall also give consideration to a certificate of relief from disabilities or a certificate of good conduct issued to the applicant, which certificate shall create a presumption of rehabilitation in regard to the offense or offenses specified therein.
