  • Assess and advise on current architectures based on the AWS Well-Architected Framework
  • Maintain a strong security posture in infrastructure and application deployments
  • Automate the deployment of cloud infrastructure in CI/CD pipelines to support application hosting and development
  • Perform cost and operational optimization analysis on both existing infrastructure and new deployments
  • Perform environment monitoring with log aggregation tools such as Splunk or ELK stack
  • Regularly document project requirements and implementations
  • Investigate and resolve incidents related to cloud infrastructure
  • Mentor engineers across different teams about cloud best practices
  • Stay current on new cloud technologies and offerings and determine how to integrate into existing architectures
  • Educate new-to-cloud engineers in our Cloud Camp program
  • Participate in night and weekend on-call rotation
Bring your passion and expertise
  • At least 2 years of experience in with Amazon Web Services (AWS) with multiple resource offerings
  • Have strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD environments via scripting and automation. We use Terraform and Jenkins
  • Have strong knowledge of cloud security resources including AWS IAM, SecurityHub, GuardDuty
  • Have a solid understanding of container orchestration with Docker and ECS
  • Be proficient in scripting. We prefer Python and bash
  • Be a clear and confident communicator to technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent training and experience
