REI is searching for a Senior IT Engineer – Client/Collaboration with a strong background in Microsoft O365 suite, including: Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive and MS Teams. Beyond this the ideal candidate will have experience with client mobility (MDM & MAM), Client virtualization and strong customer services skills.
As the REI Senior IT Engineer – Client/Collaboration, you will take lead investigating, documenting and providing tier 3 support of new as well as current REI Client/Collaboration solutions.  

Duties include:
  • Work closely with Peers, Architects, Business Analysts and business users to develop and document clear requirements, designs, support strategies
  • Partner with Business Analysts and Project Managers to provide technical guidance during project intake, planning and execution
  • Clearly document/communicate issues, workarounds and resolutions to lower level support teams
  • Provide Systems Administration of core Client/Collaboration solutions
  • Work closely and collaboratively with peers in IT infrastructure, network, security and operations teams on proof-of-concepts, demonstrations, analysis, and incident support
  • Work closely with 3rd party partners to ensure strong collaboration, communication and support
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of current and emerging technologies to identify, develop opportunities for improved services
  • Partner closely with 3rd party partners and internal peers to ensure cross team dependencies are well understood, documented and accounted for prior to production rollouts     


Bring your passion and expertise

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience 
  • Minimum three years’ experience supporting Microsoft O365 suite
  • Experience migrating users from on-prem to cloud solutions 
  • Experience with VMware client virtualization (Horizon) technology
  • Experience with mobile management tools “VMware Airwatch” and/or “Microsoft Intune” preferred  
  • Familiarity with non- Microsoft Collaboration Tools Slack, or Facebook for Business is a plus
  • Solid understanding of Network (Lan/Wan/Wireless) and Security concepts
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peer’s and stakeholders of various levels of authority
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

ARTICLE 23-A, Section 753
LICENSURE AND EMPLOYMENT OF PERSONS PREVIOUSLY CONVICTED OF ONE OR MORE CRIMINAL OFFENSES

§753. Factors to be considered concerning a previous criminal conviction; presumption.

1. In making a determination pursuant to section seven hundred fifty-two of this chapter, the public agency or private employer shall consider the following factors:

(a) The public policy of this state, as expressed in this act, to encourage the licensure and employment of persons previously convicted of one or more criminal offenses.

(b) The specific duties and responsibilities necessarily related to the license or employment sought or held by the person.

(c) The bearing, if any, the criminal offense or offenses for which the person was previously convicted will have on his fitness or ability to perform one or more such duties or responsibilities.

(d) The time which has elapsed since the occurrence of the criminal offense or offenses.

(e) The age of the person at the time of occurrence of the criminal offense or offenses.

(f) The seriousness of the offense or offenses.

(g) Any information produced by the person, or produced on his behalf, in regard to his rehabilitation and good conduct.

(h) The legitimate interest of the public agency or private employer in protecting property, and the safety and welfare of specific individuals or the general public.

2. In making a determination pursuant to section seven hundred fifty-two of this chapter, the public agency or private employer shall also give consideration to a certificate of relief from disabilities or a certificate of good conduct issued to the applicant, which certificate shall create a presumption of rehabilitation in regard to the offense or offenses specified therein.
