In collaboration with key stakeholders this job will develop, build, and implement a shared suite of tools, systems, and processes, that drive operational excellence – optimized for test & learn.  The person in this role will map and analyze current state processes, identifying pain points, developing recommendations, and ultimately stand-up new improvements that will allow teams to rapidly and repeatably test in market.  

The Senior Program Manager for Innovation Operations is an ambidextrous thinker. They have experience working in large retail and ecommerce organizations with established systems and processes that support the enterprise. But they also bring a startup mindset and what’s required to be able to repeatably, efficiently, effectively execute a series of activities to test & learn in market.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable in highly ambiguous conditions. They will demonstrate initiative to develop solutions for challenges without an existing playbook. They will be a self-starter, rolling up their sleeves to get the work done. Their high degree of empathy and emotional IQ will allow them to successfully work with teams across the co-op, translating the needs of test & learn teams against specific requirements from a range of internal stakeholders.

  • Stand-up new processes and tools that enable teams to repeatably, efficiently, and effectively execute test & learn initiatives in market  
  • Support each of the test & learn opportunity areas to map out the internal dependencies and timelines required to execute against proposed tests, building out detailed workback plans with key dates and gates
  • In coordination with technology and procurement, create the toolset for test & learn across a range of activities
  • In coordination with the portfolio, design and manage a communications process between the governing body, the respective test & learn initiatives, and relevant stakeholders, to ensure clarity of process expectations, feedback, and action items
  • In coordination with legal, define intake and review process dimensionalized across types of tests, likely activities, and pertinent considerations to successfully manage increasing pipeline of in-market tests
  • Work with opportunity area teams to coordinate and compile all learnings, data, KPI’s and metrics into a single hub
  • Build the knowledge management system to ensure learnings are captured, codified, actionable/digestible, and accessible to all relevant stakeholders

Bring your passion and expertise

  • 8+ years' experience with increasing responsibility in operations, strategy, and/or analytics, ideally in both a startup and large corporate environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Industrial/Systems Engineering or other process related discipline
  • Critical problem solver, with ability to break down and simplify ambiguous problems into executable milestones & actions, manage complex processes, and influence cross-functional teams to execute against goals
  • Proven aptitude to sift through data, identify critical information, analyze, develop hypothesis and make recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience in data and reporting coupled with technical proficiency using tools such as Tableau, Excel, AirTable, etc.
  • Bias for action; driven for results while demonstrating positive attitude and enthusiasm
  • Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally and create trust among those with diverse personal styles
  • Highly collaborative, with strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver presentations to senior leadership
  • Range, with working knowledge spanning various functional domains

ARTICLE 23-A, Section 753
LICENSURE AND EMPLOYMENT OF PERSONS PREVIOUSLY CONVICTED OF ONE OR MORE CRIMINAL OFFENSES

§753. Factors to be considered concerning a previous criminal conviction; presumption.

1. In making a determination pursuant to section seven hundred fifty-two of this chapter, the public agency or private employer shall consider the following factors:

(a) The public policy of this state, as expressed in this act, to encourage the licensure and employment of persons previously convicted of one or more criminal offenses.

(b) The specific duties and responsibilities necessarily related to the license or employment sought or held by the person.

(c) The bearing, if any, the criminal offense or offenses for which the person was previously convicted will have on his fitness or ability to perform one or more such duties or responsibilities.

(d) The time which has elapsed since the occurrence of the criminal offense or offenses.

(e) The age of the person at the time of occurrence of the criminal offense or offenses.

(f) The seriousness of the offense or offenses.

(g) Any information produced by the person, or produced on his behalf, in regard to his rehabilitation and good conduct.

(h) The legitimate interest of the public agency or private employer in protecting property, and the safety and welfare of specific individuals or the general public.

2. In making a determination pursuant to section seven hundred fifty-two of this chapter, the public agency or private employer shall also give consideration to a certificate of relief from disabilities or a certificate of good conduct issued to the applicant, which certificate shall create a presumption of rehabilitation in regard to the offense or offenses specified therein.
