Business Intelligence & Analytics at REI has been going through a transformational journey to enable the co-op to be a data driven organization. Along with a complete revamp of the entire analytical platform ecosystem which includes onboarding new solutions and migrating to Cloud, the team continues to enhance our already rich data platforms with additional data that helps to drive actionable insights across the Co-op. The team also develops new analytical products in the form of reports, Dashboards and Data Science products to solve critical business problems.  Our team of Architects, Engineers, Business Analysts, Project Managers and Data Scientists use technologies such Snowflake, SAP BW, MongoDB, AWS Services, Tableau, Business Objects, Sigma Computing and programming languages like SQL, Python, ABAP, R & Terraform to support multiple projects in data integration, analytics and data science. 


 As a Sr. SAP BW Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to build new data integrations and data products in our SAP BW(on Hana) platform to solve complex data and business problems in support of our Merchandising and Finance teams.  You will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our future state architecture comprising of S4/HANA and B4/HANA.  You also get to be part of a super fun team and an organization that values work-life balance and inspires you to live a life outdoors!

Responsibilities 
  • Analyzes, designs, develops, and implements SAP BW/IP/HANA requirements working on moderately complex to highly complex efforts with integration dependencies on SAP ECC, Snowflake and Custom REI applications
  • Works collaboratively with a product manager and an engineering team that includes other engineers, architects, principal business analysts.
  • Collaborate with business partners from Merchandising, Retail and finance teams for reporting requirements, Incident resolution and UAT support.
  • Identifies and provides recommendations for performance optimization of BW ETL and AO Reporting.
  • Supports ABAP/SQL code reviews within and across teams.
  • Leads and provides hands on technical assistance and problem resolution for SAP BW/HANA incidents in accordance with problem management policies and procedures. Coordinates with SAP/Vendor for problem resolution as needed.
  • Prepares required BW/HANA technical specifications and run book for BW batch processing through Tidal/process chains.
  • Consults with Quality Assurance and business analysts in the development and execution of test plans. Use JIRA board to monitor and triage the defects.
  • Ensures that application changes follow change approval board policies and procedures.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years’ experience with SAP development methodology, ABAP proficiency with solid knowledge of SAP development concepts, including customer exits, function modules and extractors.
  • Demonstrates technical expertise through maintaining primary technical programming skills for assigned job, developing new skills as required, developing guidelines and standards, and demonstrating best practices and leadership.
  • Must have solid data modeling skills and comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of the SAP BW Data Warehousing Workbench.
  • 2+ years’ experience working with SAP BW on HANA features, experience with SAP B4/HANA is highly desired.
  • Hands on experience with BW components such as Info Cubes, Multi-Providers, DSOs, transformations, data sources, DTPs, hierarchy update, master data loads, extractions, process chains, debugging loads, attribute change run, BEX reports development and Analysis for Office..
  • Must be able to perform support activities like monitoring process chains and completing break/fix and maintenance request independently.
  • 3+ years of experience in working BW Integrated Planning (IP)
  • SAP BW certification and Retail Industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with one or more of the following SAP modules: FI-CO, MM, SD SAP IS Retail (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent training and experience.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be self-driven, accountable and constant learner.

ARTICLE 23-A, Section 753
LICENSURE AND EMPLOYMENT OF PERSONS PREVIOUSLY CONVICTED OF ONE OR MORE CRIMINAL OFFENSES

§753. Factors to be considered concerning a previous criminal conviction; presumption.

1. In making a determination pursuant to section seven hundred fifty-two of this chapter, the public agency or private employer shall consider the following factors:

(a) The public policy of this state, as expressed in this act, to encourage the licensure and employment of persons previously convicted of one or more criminal offenses.

(b) The specific duties and responsibilities necessarily related to the license or employment sought or held by the person.

(c) The bearing, if any, the criminal offense or offenses for which the person was previously convicted will have on his fitness or ability to perform one or more such duties or responsibilities.

(d) The time which has elapsed since the occurrence of the criminal offense or offenses.

(e) The age of the person at the time of occurrence of the criminal offense or offenses.

(f) The seriousness of the offense or offenses.

(g) Any information produced by the person, or produced on his behalf, in regard to his rehabilitation and good conduct.

(h) The legitimate interest of the public agency or private employer in protecting property, and the safety and welfare of specific individuals or the general public.

2. In making a determination pursuant to section seven hundred fifty-two of this chapter, the public agency or private employer shall also give consideration to a certificate of relief from disabilities or a certificate of good conduct issued to the applicant, which certificate shall create a presumption of rehabilitation in regard to the offense or offenses specified therein.
