  • Contributes to the strategy development in partnership with the Senior Program Manager and contributes to creating cross-functional business plan, both customer and employee-facing, in support of respective annual planning.
  • Execute REI Mastercard program by collaborating with peers and leaders to ensure project outcomes align with priorities and direction of the Strategic Partnership department and company.
  • Understand, analyze, and act on key performance indicators to continually grow the program and improve the experience.
  • Ensure stores are fully equipped with REI Mastercard materials and participate in all relevant projects. Forecast needs, maintain operational excellence, and proactively provide exceptional customer service to the field.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal cross-divisional and external partners
  • Support REI Mastercard acquisition through omni channel activation strategies and manage REI Mastercard Portfolio initiatives and day-to-day executions with bank partner and project management.
  • Collaborate and optimize performance and customer experience with existing and new external vendors. Actively manage vendor performance; ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met. Provide vendors with day-to-day support and problem solving to remove any barriers to growing the business and enhancing the customer experience.
  • Orchestrates and assists in executing program plan throughout cross-divisional planning, execution, and recap phases. Partner with program managers to create REI Mastercard promotional initiatives to drive the Co-op’s growth agenda. Responsible for creating and executing project plan with cross-divisional teams. Analyze past data to determine trends related to forecast, distribute, and manage inventory throughout season or event.
  • Act as a liaison to our Marketing Integration team to ensure marketing communications and support for Mastercard promotions.
  • Create communications strategy with support documentations for promotional initiatives for Sales & Customer Service team, Retail Operations, and Digital team informing them of upcoming plans, projects, and promotions. Assist in budget management and invoicing needs.
  • Manage VOC comments related to the program and proactively solve or escalate known issues, while keeping the Strategic Partnership team apprised of trends.
  • Accurately maintain process documents and calendars and proactively create new process documents when needed.
  • Partner with cross-divisional peers and next-level management to drive production and merchandising. Consistently deliver high-quality execution to enhance the customer experience while driving growth in the programs.
  • Plan future projects by identifying a clear approach, focusing on key business objectives while communicating project objectives and expected outcomes.
  • Collect data and conduct financial analysis of program performance; prepare and present findings and key takeaways in a format easily understood by broad audiences.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of our strategic partnership, retail, digital, marketing, and marketplace trends.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements for managing operations most efficiently.
  • Provide key inputs to budgets of $1 mil+, including monthly working plan updates, expense forecasting, and year-end performance management.

Bring your passion and expertise

  • 2+ years’ experience in marketing or programs
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with an understanding of strategic partnerships and marketing success criteria and measurement
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., lookups, pivot tables, data modeling)
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills and attention to detail
  • Uses business knowledge, innovative thinking, and sound judgement in the solution of problems or the pursuit of business opportunities.
  • Experience with working with multiple teams and stakeholders, executing project plans (including contingency plans), and delivering results on time and on budget
  • Understanding of strategic partnership and cross-team processes and relationship needs
  • Budget tracking experience preferred
  • Experience with partnerships, and/or co-branded credit cards (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing or related field (preferred)

ARTICLE 23-A, Section 753
LICENSURE AND EMPLOYMENT OF PERSONS PREVIOUSLY CONVICTED OF ONE OR MORE CRIMINAL OFFENSES

§753. Factors to be considered concerning a previous criminal conviction; presumption.

1. In making a determination pursuant to section seven hundred fifty-two of this chapter, the public agency or private employer shall consider the following factors:

(a) The public policy of this state, as expressed in this act, to encourage the licensure and employment of persons previously convicted of one or more criminal offenses.

(b) The specific duties and responsibilities necessarily related to the license or employment sought or held by the person.

(c) The bearing, if any, the criminal offense or offenses for which the person was previously convicted will have on his fitness or ability to perform one or more such duties or responsibilities.

(d) The time which has elapsed since the occurrence of the criminal offense or offenses.

(e) The age of the person at the time of occurrence of the criminal offense or offenses.

(f) The seriousness of the offense or offenses.

(g) Any information produced by the person, or produced on his behalf, in regard to his rehabilitation and good conduct.

(h) The legitimate interest of the public agency or private employer in protecting property, and the safety and welfare of specific individuals or the general public.

2. In making a determination pursuant to section seven hundred fifty-two of this chapter, the public agency or private employer shall also give consideration to a certificate of relief from disabilities or a certificate of good conduct issued to the applicant, which certificate shall create a presumption of rehabilitation in regard to the offense or offenses specified therein.
