This intermediate level Supply Chain Technology Analyst II contributes to REI’s success by maintaining systems integrity for REI’s Distribution Centers. This position will partner collaboratively within the DC Operations and REI technical teams to support & drive results. Our primary responsibility is tier1/tier 2 systems support, managing tactical Distribution systems and participation on individual projects directly impacting our business portfolio. We also act as a team member in supporting large, more complex project implementations. Emphasis will be placed on having more autonomy to recommend, test and improve current processes, systems, and change management. We are often involved with scoping systems return on investment and prioritization of ask in accordance with or full portfolio of project work. The expectation is the candidate models and acts in accordance with REI’s guiding values and mission.

This role will support our Distribution centers with night and weekend shifts, remote.

The Supply Chain Technology Analyst II will be directed in several aspects of their work independently with guidance from peers & IT support teams to support the Distribution Center Operations.  A general proficiency and high desire to learn is required for tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish their work. The expectation is this position will collaborate with peers, leads, supervisors, managers and IT support to optimize success of issues encountered daily. A high attention to detail & desire to problem solve is critical to learning this role. This position can work remotely but may be require on site support as necessary depending on the need and seasonality. 

  • Collaborates with internal customers to gather solution requirements then works with our IT partners to develop, test, and implement the changes.
  • Be available to support operations as needed in systems solutions, break fix troubleshooting, process redesign or systems testing support.
  • Validates business initiatives from a systems perspective and contributes to forming & designing optimal solutions.
  • Compiles and analyzes business data and metrics leveraging MS Access, MS Excel, Tableau, and SQL tools.
  • Develops and/or refines data collection and analysis tools to measure and manage processes or business metrics.
  • Delivers verbal and written reports of projects or managed business processes using MS PowerPoint and MS Word to document and present the work content.
  • Monitors costs or service level agreements with internal teams and external partners. Assists in the negotiation of support agreement requirements and maintenance with external support vendors.
  • A Fundamental understanding of Servers & Systems infrastructure is preferred. 
  • High accountability to problem solving and working through solutions in a controlled test environment.
Bring your passion and expertise
  • 2-3 years’ experience in two or more of the following areas of discipline:  
    • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) (Manhattan iSeries  highly preferred)
    • Supply Chain Operations
    • Distribution / Material Handling 
    • Retail Store Product Logistics 
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Distribution, Material Management, and/or Supply Chain from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Certification in LEAN, Six Sigma, Agile or APICS is preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft (MS) Excel.
  • Intermediate skills and experience with at least two areas: Visual Basic Script, SQL, SAP, Tableau, JIRA, Labor Management Systems, Warehouse Slotting Systems, Storage Utilization/Planning.
  • Highly Autonomous & collaborative with peers, internal Customers and across REI Headquarters for the support & achievement of business goals.
  • Flexible in one's viewpoints and positions to support the direction taken by others at REI.
  • Uses business knowledge, innovative thinking, and sound judgment in the solution of problems or the pursuit of business solutions.
  • Consolidates & collaborates information from various sources including feedback from others to reach sound decisions.

Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location or other relevant factors. The salary range for this position may be lower or higher in different markets.

The pay for this role is: $47,500 to $97,500 per year

ARTICLE 23-A, Section 753
LICENSURE AND EMPLOYMENT OF PERSONS PREVIOUSLY CONVICTED OF ONE OR MORE CRIMINAL OFFENSES

§753. Factors to be considered concerning a previous criminal conviction; presumption.

1. In making a determination pursuant to section seven hundred fifty-two of this chapter, the public agency or private employer shall consider the following factors:

(a) The public policy of this state, as expressed in this act, to encourage the licensure and employment of persons previously convicted of one or more criminal offenses.

(b) The specific duties and responsibilities necessarily related to the license or employment sought or held by the person.

(c) The bearing, if any, the criminal offense or offenses for which the person was previously convicted will have on his fitness or ability to perform one or more such duties or responsibilities.

(d) The time which has elapsed since the occurrence of the criminal offense or offenses.

(e) The age of the person at the time of occurrence of the criminal offense or offenses.

(f) The seriousness of the offense or offenses.

(g) Any information produced by the person, or produced on his behalf, in regard to his rehabilitation and good conduct.

(h) The legitimate interest of the public agency or private employer in protecting property, and the safety and welfare of specific individuals or the general public.

2. In making a determination pursuant to section seven hundred fifty-two of this chapter, the public agency or private employer shall also give consideration to a certificate of relief from disabilities or a certificate of good conduct issued to the applicant, which certificate shall create a presumption of rehabilitation in regard to the offense or offenses specified therein.
