Bay Area Experiences Field Supervisor Multiday Adventures
This job contributes to REI’s success by leading REI experiences by directly supervising and mentoring REI Local Experiences teams, events, and programs. This position will ensure program development and scheduling, risk management, operations for all local programming, oversee land management agency partnerships.  Supervisors will be responsible for day-to-day staff management and scheduling, ensuring the successful delivery of programming content and the safety of all participants in the field, while providing excellent customer service, REI branding, and role modeling for all members of the local team.  Additional responsibilities include overseeing equipment maintenance, coordinating programming and event logistics, and ensure permitting prior to programs. Other duties include serving as staff trainer, performing administrative duties, working with store management teams, communicating with customers and local business/community partners, and conducting field assessment of classes and guides. Models and acts in accordance with REI’s guiding values and mission. 

Operations Coordinator, Employee Journey & Training
This job contributes to REI’s success by supporting national operations for Co-op Experiences. This role builds and manages operational processes, resources, plans, policies, and tools to ensure Experiences team members can deliver a 5-star customer experience. This role is on the Employee Journey and Training team and will work closely with Operations teams and field teams to plan, create, implement, and manage employee recruiting, training, development, and recognition programs that will be delivered in both digital and in-person platforms.  

Operations Coordinator- Logistics

This job contributes to REI's success by collaborating on, and developing, processes that ladder up to REI's Experience Department objectives and key results in customer satisfaction and employee engagement.  As part of the Experiences Operations team, you will need to be driven by process building, a laser focus on the customer, and make data-driven decisions to deliver results. The Physical Operations team supports the full suite of Co-op Experiences: outdoor classes, day tours, multi-day adventure travel, and field rentals. 

Product Coordinator- Product Production 
This job contributes to REI Experiences success through the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of operational details associated with an assortment of integrated and/or custom adventure travel products.  The Program Coordinator (PC) serves as an operational and multi-tasking expert by proactively tracking and executing on numerous itinerary specific deadlines associated with third party services, online reservation booking systems for campgrounds and permits and lodging and catering contract agreements.  The PC leads the coordination, procurement and management of lodging, campground reservations and departure specific backcountry and special use permits and ensures we remain within compliance regulations.  The PC builds and maintains consistent, dependable and strong working relationships with all outside service contacts to ensure positive REI advocacy and additional in field support. 

Regional Experiences Manager (NY, NJ, CT)
This job contributes to REI’s success by leading and growing REI’s regional outdoor experiences. The Regional Manager is based in the field and responsible for defining the regional experiences business strategy and driving business growth for the experiences portfolio inclusive of Day and Multi-Day programs, and Activity Sites.  This role oversees program operations, coordinates and leads regional teams, implements corporate initiatives, and serves as main point of contact for program risk management at the regional level. The Regional Manager will partner with Retail Directors and Local Brand Engagement Managers to develop REI’s local and regional customer approach and strategy – aligned with business goals and objectives.

Supervisor- Program Coordination (Product Production)
This job contributes to REI Experiences success by supporting and leading the Product/Program Coordinator team responsible for ensuring excellence in ongoing day-to-day trip operations for integrated, vendor and/or custom programs. The Supervisor, Product/Program Coordination ensures all Coordinator responsibilities and job functions are fulfilled and that business objectives are met as a result. Communicates operating procedures and performance expectations to staff and oversees individual contributors’ work toward goals.

    ARTICLE 23-A, Section 753

    §753. Factors to be considered concerning a previous criminal conviction; presumption.

    1. In making a determination pursuant to section seven hundred fifty-two of this chapter, the public agency or private employer shall consider the following factors:

    (a) The public policy of this state, as expressed in this act, to encourage the licensure and employment of persons previously convicted of one or more criminal offenses.

    (b) The specific duties and responsibilities necessarily related to the license or employment sought or held by the person.

    (c) The bearing, if any, the criminal offense or offenses for which the person was previously convicted will have on his fitness or ability to perform one or more such duties or responsibilities.

    (d) The time which has elapsed since the occurrence of the criminal offense or offenses.

    (e) The age of the person at the time of occurrence of the criminal offense or offenses.

    (f) The seriousness of the offense or offenses.

    (g) Any information produced by the person, or produced on his behalf, in regard to his rehabilitation and good conduct.

    (h) The legitimate interest of the public agency or private employer in protecting property, and the safety and welfare of specific individuals or the general public.

    2. In making a determination pursuant to section seven hundred fifty-two of this chapter, the public agency or private employer shall also give consideration to a certificate of relief from disabilities or a certificate of good conduct issued to the applicant, which certificate shall create a presumption of rehabilitation in regard to the offense or offenses specified therein.
